In the shadow of the Sierras, the climbing scene in Southern California is just getting it's footing. Rolling hills strewn with monstrous granite blocs are everywhere in San Diego and Mt. Woodson is the king of them all. Locals hit it up weekend warrior style, but some warriors come back bloodied up by the volcanic crystals out there. This is the story of Dave on the battlefield.
